The Parsons Area Community Foundation (PACF) is pleased to announce the establishment of the USD 504 Oswego School District Unrestricted Fund, created to support general needs and special projects benefiting administrators, faculty, staff, and students throughout the Oswego School District.

The new fund provides an opportunity for community members, alumni, businesses, and other supporters to invest in the future of Oswego schools. Contributions will help address evolving district needs, support special initiatives, and enhance educational opportunities for students while benefiting the dedicated educators and staff who serve them.

“The establishment of this fund reflects the power of community generosity and the difference it can make in local education,” said Becky Dantic, PACF Executive Director. “By creating a way for donors to support the broader needs of the Oswego school district, we can help provide resources for meaningful projects and opportunities that benefit students, educators, and the entire school community. We encourage everyone who believes in the future of Oswego schools to consider contributing to this important effort.”

USD 504 Superintendent James Dawson shared the vision behind the initiative. “The USD 504 Oswego School District Unrestricted Fund creates an opportunity for our community to make a lasting difference in the lives of our students. Through the generosity and support of our community, we can expand opportunities, encourage new ideas, and build a stronger future for the next generation.”

Dawson also emphasized the importance of investing in education and bringing the community together in support of students. “The establishment of the Oswego School District Unrestricted Fund is an investment in the future of our students and our community. By bringing people together to support innovative opportunities and enhance educational experiences, we can help ensure every student has the resources and support they need to succeed.”

Community members are invited to help launch the fund by making a contribution. Donations can be made online at parsonsareacf.org or by mailing a check to PO Box 894, Parsons, Kansas, 67357. Donors should designate their contributions to the USD 504 Oswego School District Unrestricted Fund.

Every gift, regardless of size, helps strengthen educational opportunities and supports the people who make a difference in the lives of Oswego students each day.
