Granting History
From February through March 31st, the Parsons Area Community Foundation accepts grant applications from local organizations. Following careful review, funded grants are awarded in May. The Foundation, by law, may only give to (1) a charitable organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or (2) a political subdivision of the State of Kansas including municipalities, school districts and community colleges. Verification that an organization meets the above criteria is now required before funding.
For the fiscal year ending May 31, 2009, the following organizations received grants:
